User Accounts

To use RoleSignal, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate account information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Intellectual Property

The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by RoleSignal and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your content (interview responses, transcripts) remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process this content to provide the service.

AI-Generated Content

RoleSignal uses AI to generate interview questions and feedback. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate or complete
  • Feedback is intended as practice guidance, not professional career advice
  • The service does not guarantee interview success
  • AI responses should be evaluated critically

Payment and Billing

If you purchase a paid subscription:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Refund policies will be clearly stated at the time of purchase
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant any specific outcomes from using the service.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPTALK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoleSignal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Severability

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RoleSignal regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
