When you create an account, we collect:

  • Role and experience level (optional, for personalization)

Interview Session Data

During interview sessions, we process:

  • Audio input (processed in real-time, not permanently stored as audio)
  • Text transcripts of your responses
  • AI-generated feedback and evaluations

Usage Data

We collect standard usage information:

  • Session timestamps and duration
  • Feature usage patterns
  • Technical information (browser type, device type)

Audio Handling

We want to be specific about how audio is handled:

  • Audio is streamed and processed in real-time during sessions
  • Audio is converted to text (transcribed) for feedback generation
  • Audio recordings are not permanently stored
  • Text transcripts are stored for your review and progress tracking

If you prefer not to have transcripts stored, you can delete them after each session.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide interview practice and feedback
  • To track your progress over time
  • To improve the service (using aggregated, anonymized data)
  • To communicate with you about the service

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use reputable cloud infrastructure providers with strong security practices.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it.

Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.
